Warrensburg Community Grant Program

WARRENSBURG, MO (MARCH 2, 2016) – The Warrensburg Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCVB) has set aside funding for the promotion of events and attractions exhibiting positive tourism potential to the Warrensburg, Missouri area. These funds are to assist qualified organizations with the promotion of tourism activities striving to directly increase hotel/motel occupancy and encourage events to expand their marketing reach, which contributes positively to the growth of tourism in Warrensburg, Missouri. Currently, applications are reviewed as they are received.

In order to review grant applications more effectively, the Board voted unanimously for the grant review committee to review applications twice per year in January and July, effective immediately. “With our new grant format, we're working to support organizations who are planning events that will encourage people to 'Come, Sit, Stay' in Warrensburg, home of Man's Best Friend,” stated Sandy Irle, President of the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Any organizations interested in participating can find the application on the WCVB website. Applications can be submitted online, or downloaded to mail or hand deliver to the WCVB office. Please feel free to contact the WCVB for any further information. The next grant review will be in July, 2016.
