Arts Commission
The Warrensburg Arts Commission shall establish and oversee programs related to public awareness of, accessibility to, participation in and support for arts in the City.

Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment has jurisdiction and statutory authority to hear and determine exceptions and variances to the zoning regulations upon appeal.

Building Code Board of Appeals
The purpose of the Building Code of Appeals Board is for any person aggrieved by a decision of the Board of Appeals.

Children’s Memorial Fund Advisory Board
The Children’s Memorial Fund Advisory Board was created for the purpose of building a children’s memorial, to honor the memory of children who have died. The board has also been created for maintaining and improving the Children’s Memorial Gardens at Nancy Anderson Park. The board is to advise the City Council on all aspects regarding construction of the Children’s Memorial.

Diversity & Inclusion Commission
The Diversity and Inclusion Commission shall examine the community and provide feedback that will help foster mutual understanding and respect among all members of the City. The commission will work through education and outreach to discourage prejudice and discrimination.

Energy & Sustainability Task Force
A citizen advisory board used to review and suggest strategies to the City Council for energy efficiency, resource conservation, and renewable energy solutions for the City of Warrensburg.

Historic Preservation Commission
The Historic Preservation Commission was created in 2005 to promote the educational, cultural, economic and general welfare of the community.

Parks & Recreation Board
The Parks and Recreation Board consists of 9 members who oversee the operation of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission member should be qualified by knowledge or experience to act in matters pertaining to development and continuing administration of comprehensive plan and planning and zoning in general.

Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission
The TIF Commission shall function as a permanent part of the city government until terminated by action of the city council. The commission shall administer the provisions of article VI of the City of Warrensburg Code of Ordinances.

Traffic Commission
The purpose of the Traffic Commission is to coordinate traffic activities and receive complaints regarding traffic matters. This commission makes recommendations to the City Council and other City officials regarding traffic conditions and the administration and enforcement of traffic regulations.

Tree Board
The purpose of the Warrensburg Tree Board is to encourage the protection of trees, shrubs, bushes and other plants; to provide for public health, safety and general welfare just to name a few.

Warrensburg Convention & Visitors Bureau
The purpose of the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau is to promote tourism in Warrensburg.
