About Court


The Municipal Court for the City of Warrensburg has jurisdiction over traffic and miscellaneous offenses committed within City limits. The Municipal Judge holds an appointed position and oversees Court operations. Judge James R. Hall is the current Judge for the City of Warrensburg Municipal Court.

WE ARE FOLLOWING ALL REQUIRED GUIDELINES CONCERNING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
If any of the following are true - DO NOT APPEAR FOR COURT - Contact the court for alternative options.
-If you have been exposed to or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19
-If you or anyone in your home currently have or have had a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing in the last 14 days
-If you or anyone in your home have been tested for COVID-19, received a positive test notification or are awating a test result.
-If you or anyone in your home are currently under quarantine.

SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES WILL BE STRONGLY MONITORED
WEARING OF FACE MASKS/FACE COVERINGS IS STRONG ENCOURAGED - ALL COURT STAFF WILL BE WEARING THEM DURING ANY COURT PROCEEDINGS.

Request for Records


All requests for court records must be submitted in writing and can be done in person, by mail or e-mail. A Defendant requesting a closed record may do so in person, by providing a notarized statement with the request, or by submitting a photo ID to the Court.  Please allow seven to ten business days to process request and send records. Contact our office for more specific details if needed.

Mission


The mission for the Municipal Court is to impartially adjudicate ordinance violation cases such that the legal rights of individuals are safeguarded while the quality of life in the community is enhanced.
