ABOUT COURT
The Warrensburg Municipal Court has jurisdiction over traffic and miscellaneous offenses committed within City limits. The Municipal Judge holds an appointed position and oversees Court operations. Judge James R. Hall is the current Judge for the Warrensburg Municipal Court.
COURT DOCKETS
Court is (typically) scheduled every Tuesday. The morning docket begins at 9:00 a.m. (with doors opening at 8:30) and the afternoon docket begins at 1:30 p.m. (with doors opening at 1:00). Trials begin at 2:30 p.m.
DRESS CODE
Appropriate dress is required in the courtroom: No shorts, No hats, No Hoods, No Tank Tops, No Halter Tops and No Spaghetti Straps, No clothing with inappropriate wording or design.
Request for Records
All requests for court records must be submitted in writing and can be done in person, by mail or e-mail. A Defendant requesting a closed record may do so in person, by providing a notarized statement with the request, or by submitting a photo ID to the Court. Please allow seven to ten business days to process request and send records. Contact our office for more specific details if needed.
Mission
The mission for the Municipal Court is to impartially adjudicate ordinance violation cases such that the legal rights of individuals are safeguarded while the quality of life in the community is enhanced.
