Patrol Bureau

20230207_092729Officers assigned to the Patrol Bureau are responsible for continually patrolling within the city limits of Warrensburg to deter criminal activity. Our department currently has four patrol squads, working twelve-hour shifts, handling all calls for service. In addition, patrol officers enforce traffic laws, city ordinances, investigate traffic accidents and provide information, service, and assistance to all citizens.

Their dedication and commitment to protecting the citizens of Warrensburg is unparalleled. We actively pursue innovative community oriented policing programs throughout the city. These uniformed officers participate in school programs and other crime prevention initiatives.

The Patrol Bureau consisting of 21 full-time officers constitutes the backbone of our agency. Patrol is the most readily identified function, therefore the most visible to the public. The bureau is charged with the responsibility of protecting and serving the people, places, and property of the City of Warrensburg. We continually provide “Service with Integrity” in an effort to promote a professional image for the Warrensburg Police Department and to demonstrate our commitment to our community.
