Old Drum Festival

2023 date has not been announced.  A festival for dogs and their best friends in the Home of Man's Best Friend! Enjoy a day out at the Johnson County Historical Society complex with your dog at this festival with live music, delicious carnival food, activities for the kiddos, and more!

Go Big or Go Home Golf Tournament 

Scheduled for Friday, Oct 13 at Mules National Golf Course.  Hosted by the Blaine Whitworth Foundation. 

Johnson County Fair

Hosted by the Johnson County Fair Association. This annual county event held every July is a rootin' tootin' good time! Complete with a BBQ contest, pro bull riding, tractor pull, delicious food, and more!

Freedom Fest

This is a day filled with 4th of July Fun! The day starts out with the Freedom Fest 5K, followed by the Patriotic Children's Parade in Warrensburg's historic downtown. The fun continues in the afternoon with the Star Spangled Swim at Nassif Aquatic Center with Freedom Spectacular at Grover Park Baptist Church concluding the fun-filled day.

Burg Fest

Taking place first full weekend in October. Hosted by Warrensburg Main Street in downtown Warrensburg, this two-day festival features a variety of activities. Lots of activities for the kids, including a bounce zone with new and exciting additions this year, are sure to entertain. There will also be a performance stage with live music and entertainment, car show, street vendors and much more. And for the adults, a beer garden for some nightlife entertainment.

UCM Homecoming

Taking place in October, Homecoming is our largest campus and community party of the year. Alumni get excited, coming back to Warrensburg with their families and friends to reconnect with classmates and professors and to see how the university and city have changed. Students get excited, putting the spirit into one of the university’s longest-standing traditions through week-long competitions, the pep rally and parade.

Courthouse Concert Series

New in 2023-the series will include a spring set and fall set. This unique concert series takes place at the original Johnson County, Missouri, Courthouse. The acoustics of the 175-year-old building allows us to present concerts without amplification and the intimacy is enhanced by lighting the venue with candles and mirrors.

Dickens Christmas, First Saturday in December

Sponsored by Warrensburg Main Street, the storefronts of Downtown Warrensburg will be brought to life by local artists during Dickens Christmas! This day-long event will include horse and wagon rides, carolers strolling down the streets, live music in local businesses, chestnut roasting on an open fire, a tree lighting ceremony, and much more.
