Dark Forest~ Powell Gardens

Presented in partnership with Quixotic, Powell Gardens ushers in fall with an immersive, multimedia walk-through experience in the woods. As the dark lush veils of nightfall sweep solemnly across an eerie Midwest sky, Dark Forest invites you to journey through a magical and mysterious wooded landscape where the channels of nature’s mortal realms are fiercely pierced by unexplainable paranormal forces and spellbinding supernatural beings.

Dog Days at Powell Gardens

Select Sundays (May-September) | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. May 21, June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17 Included with general admission | Admission is free for members Dog Days allows you to bring your dog(s) for a stroll through Powell Gardens*. Enjoy seasonal blooms and sunshine with your furry friend! Dogs must have current vaccinations and remain on a leash at all times. (Retractable leashes are not allowed.) Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pooch. *Please note that marked areas of the Heartland Harvest Garden are inaccessible during Dog Days because they are dedicated to food production. Otherwise, dogs and their humans are free to explore our 175 acres

Come out and see us at swishers Sunday September 17th 9am-12pm. The years winding down and don't know how many more of these we will have so get out while you can. Anything on wheels welcome.

Mary Jane's Turns 23

Join us in celebrating our 23rd anniversary! We will have a basket raffle and $5 cheeseburger meal. All proceeds will be donated to the Johnson County Cancer Foundation!
