Knob Noster State Park encourages you to take part in a fun challenge as the weather turns chilly.
Park staff have placed eight gnomes at various locations throughout the park’s trail system. To participate in this challenge, hike the park trails, find a gnome and take a photo. Share your photo by using the hashtag #Gnomevemberhikes or by emailing it to the park naturalist at Marissa.Raterman@dnr.mo.gov.
Trails are open from sunrise to sunset. Gnomes will be on the trails from November 1st to November 30th. Remember to dress for the weather, and be sure to check for trail closures on our Park and Site Status Map.
